WHERE?
Racing from the foreshore in front of the Restonguet Sailing Clubhouse
GETTING THERE
Local Clubs are encouraged to row to the venue from their usual base.
TIMES
All gigs to be on the shoreline for 9am
COXES MEETING 09.15
Races start 10.00
Races will be into the Carrick Roads, the exact course will depend on conditions on the day, and there will be a 5 to 10 min break between legs out on the water.
Changeover for race categories will be on the foreshore.
Races will be
Men’s Vets or Supervets (same actual race, just confirm which crew)
Ladies’ Vets or Supervets (as above)
2 separate back to back races of approximately 10 minutes each
Men’s Open
Ladies’ Open
3 separate back to back races (approx 10 mins)
FACILITIES and FOOD
We have the use of the Restronguet Sailing Clubhouse, with showers, toilets and changing rooms.
There will be sandwiches, cakes, hot drinks and soup
Bringing your own personal thermos mug will be useful.
We do now have a card machine, but some cash might be useful in case of slow connections etc.
AFTER PARTY
